I am nearing my the end of my time in Ealing!

Hot sweet tea

Today in clinic, the mother that I was talking was in tears. I had passed on some bad news and it just seemed to break her. It was of course nothing that she did not already know but I think hearing it out aloud made it real. I am not really sure what was going on in her head. I am sure I will never know. I passed her some tissues and sat silently while she wept. Sometimes you just have to sit and wait, sometimes it is best not to say anything but to just wait. I did however offer her a cup of tea - because while I was sitting there - I thought to myself - "I need to comfort this woman now". Hot sweet tea for was the first thing that came to mind.

It is Spring Bank Holiday - I thought I would achieve lots of things but it seems not - nada! 

Cut some rug

The renovations continue. This weekend I have been at my mother's house removing the carpets in the hallways, master bedroom and stairs. 

It was hard work!
